DESIGN & COLOUR STORY
We have been in awe of the moon ever since we were little girls. Even now as adults, we still gasp when we look up to catch a glimpse of her beauty. Years ago when we learned that the moon is affectionately known as Grandmother Moon in Ojibwe culture, it made our hearts swoon. Grandmothers watch over us and provide us wisdom, just like the moon.
The Doom & Bloom Collection was created to honour the sacred cycle of birth, death, rebirth.
The moon doesn't need much explanation on how it connects to the cycle. Each month the moon cycles through a beautiful dance of birth and death showing difference faces each evening. We loved the design in this colour combo so much that we have to make one for each colour.
