THE DESIGN
The Espaniel design gets it’s name from our maternal grandmother’s maiden name. The Espaniel’s have a legacy of strong fierce leaders. This leadership has taken many forms and with this design we will share facets of that leadership and resiliency. This earring design is part of an evolving Espaniel Family Archive Project.
COLOUR STORY
Irene Espaniel. Our great auntie.
Irene passed away far too young. Because she was the oldest and our grandma was one of the youngest; we don't have lots of stories about Auntie Irene. We know that ehe carried herself with grace and elegance and that she had a great sense of fashion. Tragically her death is still a mystery in our family. There are rumours of the cause; but whatever the case it is agreed that it was far too early.
This is one of our first black, white, and gold pairs. A classic combination worthy of a queen like Irene.
