DESIGN STORY

This design represents creation. The power to create lies within all beings (human, plant, animal, or otherwise). The cycle of creation is birth - death - rebirth.

COLOUR STORY

This expression of The Blossoms looks at the plant world as a creative vehicle. The iris flower is one we have always been drawn to. It’s rich colours of purple and gold represent a divine connection to intuition. This connection is integral to build a relationship with the creation cycle that lives inside you.

The cycle of creation and creativity is beautiful - and often we let this beauty pass us by in our day to day lives. Today we want to take a moment to reflect on this beautiful cycle. Flowers are one of mother earth’s most precious gifts to us. Each flower holds its own energetic frequency and power to heal. Flowers inspire us in small moments; like a smile to yourself in Spring when you see the first tulip bloom. They are often given as gifts to show a sign of love, appreciation, or comfort. And of course, they have inspired countless humans in artistic expression - the flower must be one of the most painted/drawn shapes! In Ojibwe traditional leather beadwork - the flower is a very common shape found. Our great grandma loved to bead flowers in her leather work.
